Earth Mend Collective was created for myself to have a place where I could have all my favorite products in one place. I wanted to step away from the multi-billion dollar companies and support the smaller and higher quality ones who truly cared about their products and what ingredients when into them. Long before the Netflix documentary about micro-plastics, I had heard many stories about doctors finding micro-plastics throughout the human body including the brain. This is the reason that jump started my journey to cleaning up my lifestyle starting with removing as much plastic from my home as possible. I found this very difficult to do because most products sold in stores today are packaged in plastic and stored on the store shelves for months on end, allowing the plastic packaging to seep into the product itself. I wanted to start a website to make it easier for others as well to have clean and healthy products that are made with locally sourced or ethically sourced ingredients to provide the cleanest and healthiest, as well as, most holistic products available on the market. I never went into creating this website for profit. I do not own any of the products, as my goal was always to support the small businesses because without them, we lose our community. We were all created to work and live together, and in doing so, we must make a conscious effort to lean on and support one another.
